Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman will perform Dec. 6
The Broadway hot ticket “A Steady Rain,” toplined by Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman, has added a single extra performance to its limited engagement in a move sure to set cash registers ringing.
Coin from the new perf, set for Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., will go to charity, with all proceeds benefiting New York-ers for Children and the Widows and Children’s Fund of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Assn.
“Steady Rain,” in which Craig and Jackman play Chicago cops, already commands top dollar, consistently logging the highest average paid admission on the Rialto. (Last week it was about $139 per ticket.) The last-minute opportunity to catch the show seems poised to pull in even bigger bucks.
