Stars align for ‘Chance and Chemistry’

McCartney, Vardalos, Wilson added to lineup

Paul McCartney, Nia Vardalos, Patrick Wilson and Laura Benanti are among stars added to the previously announced lineup for “Chance and Chemistry: A Centennial Celebration of Frank Loesser,” an Oct. 26 concert to benefit the Actors Fund, being hosted by Annette Bening, Kevin McCollum and Jonathan Tisch.

McCartney will co-chair the benefit with Jo Sullivan Loesser, widow of the composer of “Guys and Dolls,” “The Most Happy Fella” and “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

Also joining the roster of performers at Broadway’s Minskoff Theater are Charles Busch, Ana Gasteyer, Michele Lee, John McMartin, Phyllis Newman and Steven Pasquale, among others. Previously announced participants include Hugh Jackman, Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Chita Rivera and John Stamos.
