Pulitzer winner will now run through Aug. 2

Manhattan Theater Club’s production of “Ruined” has received its seventh extension, with the Pulitzer winner now running through Aug. 2.

Lynn Nottage’s play about women in the Congo has pulled in a major awards haul this spring, picking up kudos from the New York Drama Critics Circle, the Drama Desks, the Lucille Lortels, the Outer Critics Circle and the Obies, in addition to the Pulitzer.

“Ruined” becomes MTC longest-running production at City Center since the org’s 1992 staging of Terrence McNally’s “Lips Together, Teeth Apart.”
