Peil, Therriault set for ‘Lucy’

Thesps to read play about Lucille Ball

Mary Beth Peil (“The Good Wife”) and Michael Therriault (“The Tin Pan Alley Rag”) will star in a Gotham reading of “I Loved Lucy,” a new play about the final years of Lucille Ball.

The show, by Lee Tannen, a distant relation of Ball’s, is based on his memoir of the same name, chronicling his relationship with the actress over the last 10 years of her life.

Sheryl Kaller (“Next Fall”) directs the invite-only reading on Oct. 27.
