Nicholaw to direct ‘All About Me’

Helmer steps in for departing Zaks

Casey Nicholaw will step in to helm tuner “All About Me,” the Dame Edna-Michael Feinstein show that bows on Broadway in the spring.

Nicholaw replaces Jerry Zaks, who departs the production to join another incoming musical, “The Addams Family,” as creative consultant.

Credits for director-choreographer Nicholaw include “The Drowsy Chaperone” and the 2007 Encores! production of “Follies.” He also choreographed “Monty Python’s Spamalot.”

“All About Me” was penned by Christopher Durang, Barry Humphries (the alter ego of Dame Edna) and Feinstein from a concept by Feinstein and Humphries with Lizzie Spender and Terrence Flannery.

Show, produced by Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, kicks off previews Feb. 19 ahead of a March 18 opening at the Henry Miller’s Theater.
