Long Wharf taps Ray Cullom

New Haven theater names managing director

Ray Cullom has been named managing director at New Haven’s Long Wharf Theater.

Cullom is the fourth managing director at the theater in the past seven years. Long Wharf is currently working with New Haven officials and developer Northland Investment Corp. for the theater’s move to the downtown area and the creation of a $60 million new facility.

For the past five years Cullom has been exec director of the not-for-profit Bethesda Theater in Bethesda, Md., managed by Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment.

His past experience also includes posts at Networks Presentations, the theatrical production arm of Clear Channel Entertainment, and he has been executive director and design and operations consultant for the Theater Row complex on 42nd Street in Gotham.
