“What Once We Felt,” a new play by Ann Marie Healy, will have its world preem as the season’s first offering from Lincoln Center Theater’s LCT3 initiative.
Ken Rus Schmoll will helm the play by Healy (“Now That’s What I Call a Storm”). Set in a grim future, story centers on a writer whose novel turns out to be the last one ever printed.
“What Once We Felt” will be the first of three LCT3 productions during the 2009-10 season, with the other two offerings still to be announced. Prior productions by the initiative, which aims to showcase the work of emerging legit creatives, include Matt Sax and Eric Rosen’s “Clay” and David Adjmi’s “Stunning.”
“What Once We Felt” will play the Duke on 42nd Street Oct. 26-Nov. 21.
