Kristin Scott Thomas to light ‘Night’

Actress set to star in musical

Kristin Scott Thomas has been confirmed as the star of an upcoming production of tuner “A Little Night Music” in Paris.

The staging, to be directed by Lee Blakeley, will run for five nights at Theatre du Chatelet in February.

Thomas will play Desiree, the actress at the center of the 1973 Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler tuner, another production of which is expected to land on the Rialto this season. Thesp, who appeared on Broadway last season in “The Seagull,” had previously mentioned the “Night Music” gig to the press before it was confirmed. Production also will star Lambert Wilson and Leslie Caron.

Show will run Feb. 15-20.
