The Broadway revival of “Hair” reaped the benefits of strong reviews Wednesday, with producers announcing they expected the show’s sales to wrap upward of $500,000 that day.
Tuner revival, produced by Off Broadway’s Public Theater with commercial partners including Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, opened Tuesday night to generally glowing notices.
Producers also said they handed out checks to investors returning 10% of the capitalization costs of the transfer, which came in at $5.8 million.
