Feinstein to B’way: It’s ‘All About Me’

Singer-pianist's show aiming for a February open

Singer-pianist Michael Feinstein will topline a new Broadway outing, tentatively titled “All About Me,” aiming to begin perfs in February.

Produced by Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel (“Hair,” “August: Osage County”), the show will include Feinstein and a live orchestra performing American songbook standards and other tunes. Scribe Peter Ackerman (“Ice Age”) also contributes material.

Feinstein has previously appeared in three concert-style offerings on the Rialto, with the last being “Michael Feinstein in Concert: Piano and Voice” in 1990. Like those shows, “All About Me” will play a limited run.

Design team for the production remains to be announced, as does the exact length of its run.

The limited engagement will kick off sometime in mid-February at a Shubert theater to be determined.
