Elaine Stritch goes ‘The Full Monty’

Tony winner to play tough piano player

Elaine Stritch is set to co-star in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of “The Full Monty” this summer.

The Tony and Emmy winner will portray the tough piano player in the tuner adaptation of “Monty,” about a group of unemployed blue-collar guys who turn to stripping to earn cash.

Paper Mill a.d. Mark S. Hoebee helms the production, choreographed by Denis Jones.

Show runs June 10-July 12 at the regional theater in Millburn, N.J., just outside of Gotham. No further casting has been announced.
