Also to feature readings, staged workshops

The Center Theater Group’s DouglasPlus, a new program meant to foster new theatrical works and forms, begins its season Oct. 30 with “Rx” by Kate Fodor.

Now in its second season, DouglasPlus will also feature readings and staged workshops, along with new shows including a family-friendly dinosaur story called “Darwin” and “The Lunacy Commission,” a cabaret by Lars Jan. The DouglasPlus season will run until Feb. 21 at the Kirk Douglas Theater and includes discussions after each reading and workshop. Tickets go on sale Oct. 16.
