Dallas venue inked sponsorship deal

Complex renamed AT&T Performing Arts Center

The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts has a corporate sponsorship deal and a name to go along with it, with the arts complex opening next month as the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

The $350 million project, consisting of four venues and a public park on 10 acres, will house five resident performance troupes including the Dallas Theater Center.

Recent years have seen several arts complexes and venues secure naming deals, including Broadway’s American Airlines Theater and Off Broadway’s Snapple Theater Center demonstrate.

After nine years of fund-raising, design and construction, AT&T PAC will have its grand opening Oct. 12, as previously skedded.
