Daniel Beaty's 'Night' to bow in February

The 2009-10 season at the Crossroads Theater Company in New Brunswick, N.J., includes three world preems, one of which is written and performed by Daniel Beaty (“Emergence-See!”).

Beaty’s piece, “Through the Night” (Feb. 11-21), centers on six males who range in age from 10 to 60. Crossroads also hosts the preems of “Fly” (Oct. 1-18), Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan’s new play about the Tuskegee Airmen in WWII, and “The Last Fall” (April 15-May 2), Stephanie Berry’s romantic comedy about a fiftysomething couple.

The Crossroads slate includes a run for “3 Mo’ Divas” (Nov. 19-Dec. 6), the music revue conceived and helmed by Marion J. Caffey.
