Scholarship fund will be named after thesp

Alec Baldwin has donated $1 million to New York U.’s Tisch School of the Arts for the establishment of a scholarship fund that will be named after him.

Baldwin is an alum of Tisch, from where he graduated in 1994.

The Alec Baldwin Drama Scholarship Fund will provide tuition assistance to promising performing arts students who demonstrate financial need, particularly those from economically disadvantaged families or those who are the first in a family to attend college.

Fund will launch in September.
