Actors set for musical fest

Fest set for Oct. 19-20 at New World Stages.

Debra Monk, Harriet Harris, Leslie Kritzer and Adam Chanler-Berat are among the thesps who have signed on to appear in the National Alliance for Musical Theater’s 21st annual Festival of New Musicals.

Industry-only event showcases eight developing tuners to an aud of legit producers and presenters from around the country.

Monk and Harris will appear in Barbara Anselmi and Brian Hargrove’s “It Shoulda Been You,” directed by Michael Bush, while Kritzer stars in Sara Cooper and Zach Redler’s “Memory Is the Mother of All Wisdom,” helmed by Joe Calarco.

Gordon Greenberg (“Working”) directs Chanler-Berat (“Next to Normal”), among others, in “Band Geeks!”

Fest is set to run Oct. 19-20 at New World Stages.
