Actors flock to ‘Forest’

Groff, Blum, Campbell join Dukakis in show

Jonathan Groff, Mark Blum, Rob Campbell and Randy Harrison are among thesps joining previously announced cast member Olympia Dukakis in the Public Theater’s upcoming production of Craig Lucas’ “The Singing Forest.”

Directed by Mark Wing-Davey, the time-traveling play concerns a fragmented American family plagued by buried secrets from the Holocaust. It begins previews April 7, with official opening set for April 27. Completing the cast are Louis Cancelmi, Pierre Epstein, Deborah Offner and Susan Pourfar.

This marks the second consecutive appearance in a Lucas play for Tony-nominated “Spring Awakening” star Groff, following “A Prayer for My Enemy” earlier this season at Playwrights Horizons.
