The 17th season of the Actors Company Theater will include plays by T.S. Eliot and Sidney Howard.
Season opens with Howard’s 1932 play “The Late Christopher Bean,” about the New York art world and a painter’s early works that are tracked down at a country doctor’s home. Jenn Thompson helms the show, which opens Nov. 11.
In the spring, Eliot’s play “The Cocktail Party,” which takes place at a London soiree in a fashionable couple’s apartment, will be revived in a production directed by TACT co-a.d. Scott Alan Evans. Show opens March 17.
Both offerings will play the Beckett Theater on Theater Row in midtown Gotham.
