Trio secure rights to ‘Outlander’

Xingu, Strada, Triptych take on Adamson novel

Xingu Films, Strada Films and Triptych Media have secured film rights to Gil Adamson’s “The Outlander.”

The novel, published by Canada’s House of Anansi Press, is a historical adventure with a gothic love story that follows a 19-year-old female protagonist.

Xingu’s Trudie Styler (“Moon”), Strada’s Sandra Cunningham and Triptych’s Anna Stratton are in the process of finding a writer and director for “Outlander.”
