Actress-writer Andrea Savage is staying busy, landing a trio of gigs.
She’s onboard for a role in “Dinner for Schmucks” alongside Zach Galifianakis, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. Jay Roach is directing the DreamWorks/Paramount/Spyglass feature based on the 1998 French film “The Dinner Game,” written and directed by Francis Veber.
Savage has also signed to write a feature comedy script for Castle Rock Entertainment centered on five lady friends who hope to enjoy a relaxing “girls’ weekend” in Santa Fe, N.M. Castle Rock’s Liz Glotzer will produce.
She is also writing a half-hour pilot script for 20th Century Fox TV through Peter Chernin’s Chernin Entertainment. Untitled project is based on her original idea and is intended as a starring vehicle for her.
