Mulligan, Ronan, Sidibe and Stuhbarg tapped Chopin Virtuosos

The Santa Barbara Film Fest will fete thesps Carey Mulligan, Saoirse Ronan, Gabourey Sidibe and Michael Stuhlbarg with its Chopin Virtuosos kudos.

Award is designed to put the spotlight on thesps who have delivered “standout” perfs.

Mulligan earned raves for her work in Brit period comedy “An Education.” Ronan, an Oscar nominee two years ago for “Atonement,” has “The Lovely Bones” this year. Sidibe is riding the wave of Oscar buzz for “Precious” and Stuhlbarg is generating heat for his role in “A Serious Man.”

Kudos will be presented on Feb. 7 at Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theater. Fest runs Feb. 4-14.
