Sobelman created production-sales shingle Agat Films with 10 other producers to nurse promising helmers such as de Van, who nabbed two 2007 Cesar noms. “I’m just starting to access bigger financing,” Sobelman says. “It’s important for me to follow the filmmakers I admire, and grow with them.”
