Milla Jovovich set in ‘Stone’

Actress to star with De Niro, Norton in thriller

Milla Jovovich has signed on to star alongside Robert De Niro and Edward Norton in the psychological thriller “Stone,” which will be directed by John Curran.

Project is being produced by the newly formed Mimran Schur Pictures and sold at the Cannes Film Festival by Nu Image.

Jovovich will play the wife of a convicted arsonist (Norton). Desperately looking to be paroled, Norton has Jovovich engage in a dangerous affair with his parole officer (De Niro), entrapping him in a series of deadly psychological games. Angus MacLachlan penned the screenplay.

Lensing begins in Michigan this month.

Holly Wiersma, Jordan Schur and David Mimran are producing. Nu Image/Millennium’s Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short, Avi Lerner and Rene Besson exec produce.

Jovovich will next be seen in Rogue’s “The Perfect Getaway” and Universal’s “The Fourth Kind.”

She is repped by Endeavor.
