Santa Monica-based Lightning Media has acquired U.S. distribution rights to four completed films, including horror sendup “Diagnosis Death,” starring the cast of the hit HBO series “Flight of the Conchords”: Brett McKenzie, Rhys Darby and Jemaine Clement. Spoof was directed by Jason Stutter.

The films are being shopped at the Cannes market. Company said it will release the pics later this year and in the first part of 2010.

Other titles are comedy “The Break-Up Artist” and horror-thriller “Clive Barker’s Book of Blood” and “Cracktown,” which is based on the book by Buddy Giovinazzo, who also directed.

“The Break-Up Artist” stars Amanda Crew (“The Haunting in Connecticut”) and was directed by Steve Woo.

Directed by John Harrison, “Clive Barker” stars Jones Armstrong, Sophie Ward and Paul Blair.
