Comic will be feted at L.A. Comedy Shorts fest

Bobcat Goldthwait will be feted with the first-ever Commie Award at the inaugural L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival.

Kudo will be presented during the fest’s closing-night gala Sunday at Cinespace in Hollywood.

Goldthwait recently helmed the Robin Williams starrer “World’s Greatest Dad” and “Goldthwait Home Movies: Anniversary Edition,” both of which preemed at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
