Sales shingle U Media topper Corvez scored this year with three Dubai fest winners from North Africa and the Middle East: “Masquerades,” Rabah Ameur-Zaimeche’s “Dernier Marquis” and Dima El Horr’s debut “Every Day Is a Holiday.” Corvez launched U Media in 2004, distributing catalog pics in Gaul before turning it into an international sales shingle last summer, repping a wide variety of foreign arthouse and French fare.

Says Corvez: “We try to have a coherent lineup. Last year we had largely Korean films. This year they’re mostly North African.”
