Disney museum to open in S.F.

Walt's voice to guide visitors through exhibits

The man behind the magic will soon be brought to life at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco’s Presidio.

The 10 interactive galleries in the three-building facility, complete with a 113-seat theater, will display rare photos and memorabilia, including 4 1/2 hours of never-before-seen footage.

The voice of Walt Disney will guide visitors through the exhibits through archival audio.

Timed-entry tickets will be sold in advance for the museum, which opens Oct. 1.
