'Juno' writer among three jurors at Film Fest

Scribe, journalist and author Diablo Cody is one of three jurors who will choose the best first feature that unspools at the Berlin Film Festival, organizers announced on Thursday.

The award is open to pics in the Competition, Panorama, Forum and Generations sections and carries a e50,000 ($65,000) prize shared by the producer and the director of the winning film.

Other jurors are Los Angeles-based German producer In-Ah Lee and Paris-based Iranian multihyphenate Rafi Pitts.

Fest also announced a special Teddy award for Andy Warhol’s muse Joe Dallesandro, an actor whom director John Waters credits with “forever changing male sexuality on the screen.”

The Teddy awards honor gay filmmakers. Berlin unspools Feb. 5-15.
