“Up in the Air” continues to impress critics as the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association adds another win to its credit by giving the pic the top spot on its 10 best for 2009. The feature also nabbed prizes for star George Clooney and director Jason Reitman.

Rounding out the list are “The Hurt Locker,” “Precious,” “Up,” “An Education,” “A Serious Man,” “Inglourious Basterds,” “District 9,” “Avatar” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox.”

Lee Daniel’s “Precious” also won the Russell Smith Award, an annual kudo that honors low-budget and/or cutting-edge indie pics.
