Director cancels emcee duties due to illness

DGA Awards host Carl Reiner, who had been set to host the DGA Awards on Saturday night, has been forced to cancel due to food poisoning.

Jon Cryer has agreed to replace Reiner, who has emceed 21 previous DGA galas.

The awards dinner is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Century Plaza, followed by the awards ceremony at 8 p.m.
