Bergeron to host College TV Awards

Third consecutive year he will emcee event

Tom Bergeron has been tapped to host the College Television Awards.

The awards, which are part of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation, recognize excellence in studio film or video productions in categories that include animation, children’s, comedy, commercial, docu, drama, interactive media, magazine, music, newscast and narrative.

This will be the third consecutive year that Bergeron, who co-hosted the primetime Emmys last year, will emcee the collegiate kudos.

TV Acad Foundation exec director Terri Clark said 712 entries have been submitted, the most of any previous year.

Kudos take place March 21 at the Culver Studios.
