The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced submissions for its 24th annual Don and Gee Nicholl screenwriting competish are due May 1.
The program is open to screenwriters who have not earned more than $5,000 writing fictional work.
Entries must be original, feature-length scripts written in English for either film or TV.
The Academy awards up to five $30,000 fellowships each year.
