Ace Eddie Award noms announced

'Dark Knight,' 'Slumdog,' 'Button' nab nods

Editors of the films “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “The Dark Knight,” “Milk,” “Slumdog Millionaire” and “Frost/Nixon” were honored with noms for top drama at the 59th annual Ace Eddie Awards.

For comedy, “In Bruges,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Tropic Thunder,” “Wall-E” and “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” nabbed nods.

On the TV side, episodes of “Entourage,” “30 Rock” and “The Office” were nommed in the half-hour comedy category while “Boston Legal,” “Breaking Bad” and “Law & Order: SVU” earned nods for hour-long.

The Ace Eddie Awards will be handed out Feb. 15.
