Feature and TV producer Teri Schwartz has been tapped dean of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, replacing Robert Rosen.
UCLA announced the appointment Friday and said it’s effective July 1, pending approval by the U. of California Regents.
Schwartz has served as professor and inaugural dean of the School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount U. since 2003. Her credits include “Sister Act,” “Beaches” and “Nuts.”
Prior to her appointment at LMU, Schwartz served as president and producer of her eponymous film and television production company
and as president, producer and partner at Cherry Alley Prods. in partnership with Goldie Hawn.
