Indie drama currently shooting under Gaby Dellal
Jeremy Piven and Kate Walsh are starring in indie ensemble drama “Waska,” directed by Gaby Dellal (“On a Clear Day”).
Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins, Mira Sorvino, Elizabeth McGovern and Joseph Morgan also star. Catherine Trieschmann penned the script based on the novel “Angels Crest” by Leslie Schwartz.
Pic recently commenced principal photography in Calgary.
Story centers on a young father who loses his son, throwing the community into disarray at the time of Waska — the first snowfall of the year, which is magical but often treacherous.
Dellal is attached to direct “Lorelei,” written by Chloe King.
Piven, best known for “Entourage,” is doing voice work on “Marmaduke,” now lensing. Walsh (“Private Practice”) will soon be seen in “Legion.”
