Clooney, co-stars step out for Monday's premiere
Par execs appeared over the moon for “Up in the Air” when the pic preemed Monday at the Village with a BevHilton after-party.
“It’s the most poignant comedy of the year,” said Par topper Brad Grey. “And it’s also a true love story.”
Vice chairman Rob Moore said, “It’s the dialogue that makes this movie smart, but it’s the director and cast that give it heart.”
As father of the director, a special position was held by producer Ivan Reitman, who said, “It’s wonderful to be involved in a movie that’s good. What’s really amazing is when it’s your son and there’s all the parental pride.”
At the BevHilton, whose entry and ballroom Par had cleverly redone in an airline chic design, director Jason Reitman said he “wanted to make a personal movie that deals with what makes a complete life.”
