Company picks up rights to gameshow format
BERLIN — Paris-based Banijay Entertainment has picked up rights to European broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1’s entertainment format “Mister Perfect” for France and Spain.
Skein puts male contestants to the test as they face off in front of an all-female audience and a jury of three celebrity females who must choose the contender most worthy of the show’s title.
Announced Wednesday at the Mip TV mart in Cannes, the deal follows Banijay’s acquisition of ProSiebenSat.1’s hit format “Beat the Host,” which aired on France’s TF1 as “Qui peut batter Benjamin Castaldi?” last year.
SevenOne Intl., ProSiebenSat.1’s international distribution arm, is handling worldwide rights to the “Mister Perfect” format, which airs on Sat.1 in Germany.
