Film to be based on Tish Cohen novel 'Inside'
Producer Steven Pearl is developing a feature version of “Inside Out Girl,” Tish Cohen’s novel centered on a romance between single parents.
Allan Loeb and Rosalie Swedlin are producing.
Allison Burnett, whose credits include “Resurrecting the Champ” and the upcoming “Fame” remake, is adapting.
Cohen’s novel centers on Rachel, the divorced publisher of Perfect Parent magazine, who’s raising a rebellious teenage daughter and 12-year-old son. She meets a widowed lawyer, who is dealing with his daughter’s learning disorder.
Pearl’s feature credits include “Untraceable” and the upcoming “The Baster,” “Arranged” and “Trophy Husbands.”
The property was optioned to Pearl and Burnett by UTA on behalf of Writers House.
