Eva Vezer, general manager of Magyar Filmunio, has been elected president of European Film Promotion.
She takes the reins from Claudia Landsberger, managing director of Holland Film, who will assume the VP post after 12 years as president.
The EFP also voted to extend the board to seven members from six, reflecting the growth of the org. Members of the board are Christian Dorsch, managing director of German Films; Pilar Torre, deputy director general for film promotion, ICAA; Simon Perry, CEO of the Irish Film Board; Christian Juhl Lemche, Danish Film Institute festival manager, feature films; and Jaana Puskala, head of international promotion at the Finnish Film Foundation.
Since the EFP was founded in 1997, it’s grown from 10 to 29 export and promotion organizations from 30 countries.
