Executive raised to VP of production
Chloe Dan has been upped to VP of production at DreamWorks.
Dan, who joined the company in 2005 as a creative executive, was one of the DreamWorks staffers who made the move to the new company when principals Stacey Snider and Steven Spielberg left the Paramount fold last fall. During her tenure, she worked on such films as “Hotel for Dogs,” “Eagle Eye,” “I Love You, Man,” and “The Soloist.”
A former employee at Disney and Warner Bros., Dan is working on the DreamWorks/Par/Spyglass comedy “Dinner for Schmucks” as well as the Shawn Levy-helmed “Real Steel.”
DreamWorks co-president of production Mark Sourian praised Dan, noting her “eye for material that fits the DreamWorks brand.” In the wake of DreamWorks securing $825 million in financing this past summer, she picked up the “Wicked” book series and the pitch “Doggy Day Care.”
