Lake Arrowhead fest fetes Zsigmond

Lenser to receive career achievement award

Cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond will be honored with a career achievement kudo at the 10th annual Lake Arrowhead Film Festival.

Fellow Hungarian lenser Lazslo Kovacs will be honored posthumously.

The kudos will be presented by “The Dark Knight” lenser Wally Pfister following a screening of docu “No Subtitles Necessary: Laszlo and Vilmos.”

The festival is also honoring Jim Thebaut with the humanitarian award for his docu “The American Southwest: Are We Running Dry?”

Helmer J.F. Lawton’s “Jackson,” starring Barry Primus and Charlie Robinson, is set to open the fest which runs April 2-5.
