Actress named British artist of the year
The British Academy of Film and Television/Los Angeles will honor Emily Blunt as British artist of the year at its annual gala presentation Nov. 5 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in L.A.
Previous winners include Rachel Weisz, Kate Winslet and last year’s recipient, Tilda Swinton.
Blunt can be seen in upcoming pic “The Young Victoria” and period thriller “The Wolfman,” with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. Latter is set for a Nov. 6 release.
