Tribune Media Services has partnered with Internet vid portal eGuiders to distribute an eGuiders-branded widget to newspapers and websites in the U.S. and internationally.

EGuiders is an Internet vid aggregator that allows users to search the archives of YouTube, Hulu, Crackle and other prominent vidsites, and it offers listings by genre and subject matter. The portal also features showbiz personalities, journos and others offering reviews and recommendations on vidsites and programs.

Notables who have served as “eGuiders” for the site include helmers John Landis and James Gunn, “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof and thesps Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara.

EGuiders, which bowed earlier this year, was created by filmmaker Marc Ostrick and Evangeline Morphos, producer and a film prof at Columbia U. Ostrick serves as CEO.

Tribune Media Services syndicates a range of news, movie and TV listings and other info to media outlets around the world.
