Distribution deal covers video-on-demand releases

Adam Yauch’s Oscilloscope Laboratories has signed an exclusive distrib deal with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution for all video-on-demand and download releases for both cable and computer viewers.

Oscilloscope will debut its pics via VOD and download either day and date with the pics’ bows in theaters or just after the movies finish their theatrical runs.

Oscilloscope worked with Warners on its 2008 Michelle Williams starrer “Wendy and Lucy,” which Warners Digital distribbed to Comcast, Time Warner Cable, iTunes and Amazon VOD. Future films will follow a similar model.

Upcoming releases to fall under the new agreement include docu “The Garden,” Korean pic “Treeless Mountain” and “Dear Zachary.”
