Broderick starrer to go VOD prior to 2010 release

Magnolia Pictures has acquired North American rights to “Wonderful World,” starring Matthew Broderick.

Produced by Glenn Williamson, Miranda Bailey and Matt Leutwyler, pic was financed by Ambush Entertainment.

Magnolia will release the pic on VOD one month before its bow in early 2010.

“Wonderful World” is screenwriter Josh Goldin’s directorial debut, after writing screenplays for “Darkman” and Broderick starrer “Out on a Limb.”

The deal was negotiated by Magnolia’s Senior VP Tom Quinn and head of business affairs Chris Matson and CAA.
