In the second of his shows from Iraq, and before an audience of troops, Stephen Colbert does a send up of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” citing the case of Lt. Dan Choi.
“Evidently, you can be all that you can be — with one exception,” Colbert said.
He satires the defense of the policy, that it is necessary for the “cohesiveness” of the military.

Former President George H.W. Bush does a taped cameo, noting the difference in the entertainment from the days when pinup girls would entertain the troops.
“I’m just saying, this Stephen Colbert guy better have great legs,” the elder Bush said.
