Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger tonight made his final appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” the show where he launched his political career.
Leno, who departs the show on Friday, spent much of the time riffing on the new “Terminator” movie, but did talk about the state’s budget crisis and Prop 8. Schwarzenegger, who once suggested that the court would overturn the proposition, now says that same-sex marriage likely to come before voters again in one or two years. “You know, eventually it’s going to be overturned.”
Schwarzenegger has been a favorite guest of Leno’s, and it’s more than likely that he’ll show up again when his show moves to primetime in the fall.
