Veteran Warner Bros. exec Josh Berger will take on the additional post of president and managing director for Warner Bros. Entertainment Spain.

Move, announced Monday, will take effect Dec. 1. He’ll combine the management of all Warner business activities in Spain with his existing responsibilities as president and managing director for the U.K. and Ireland, a role he’s held since 2002.

Berger was managing director for Warner’s international television distribution in Spain and Portugal for five years in the mid-’90s and made deals with Spanish media entities Sogecable and Radio Television Espanola.

Berger is a director of the U.K. Film Council, the Climate Group, TT Games and Filmbank, the joint venture company owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment and Sony Pictures Releasing.
