Eric Schmidt to give keynote at U.K. event
Google topper Eric Schmidt will be the key attraction at this fall’s Royal Television Society Cambridge Convention.
The chairman-CEO of the search engine giant joins European webheads at the three-day biennial talking shop, which bows Sept.16.
Other speakers are Five CEO Dawn Airey, ex-Endemol creative head Peter Bazalgette, U.K. media secretary Ben Bradshaw, FremantleMedia boss Tony Cohen, BSkyB chief operating officer Mike Darcey, Channel 4 CEO Andy Duncan, ex-BBC and ITV topper Greg Dyke, BBC director general Mark Thompson and RTL chief exec Gerhard Zeiler.
Schmidt will participate from New York via satellite link.
