Toronto ‘Queen’ delayed

Show replaced by 'Legally Blonde'

The Toronto run of the tuner version of “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” has been delayed a bit, with the show replaced by “Legally Blonde” in the city’s Mirvish subscription season.

The summer 2010 engagement was to have been the North American preem of “Priscilla,” currently playing on the West End. The musical will instead be moved to the beginning of the 2010-11 season.

Also on Mirvish’s 2009-10 slate are “The Boys in the Photograph,” “Little House on the Prairie” and the current “The Harder They Come,” among other shows.
